Mitt Romney: I ‘encouraged’ writers of ‘Book of Mormon’:
“I actually encouraged the guys that did that play, ‘The Book of Mormon,’ because I thought that’d be really helpful,” Mr. Romney joked to The New York Times in an interview Wednesday. The creators of the musical, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, also created the television series “South Park.”
Mr. Romney said that while he had not yet seen the show, he would like to.
“I do want to see it, sure,” he said. “It’s a Tony-award winner, big phenomenon — yeah, I want to see it someday. But I don’t have a lot of time for Broadway shows.”
The musical tells a story that Mr. Romney knows well: A young, eager Mormon heads off on his mission, only to encounter resistance and challenges along the way, albeit with a satiric, “South Park” twist and plenty of lewd jokes.

“I Will Remain” – Matthew And The Atlas
Nothing like a little bluegrass to keep us going on a rainy/foggy/frickin’ cold Monday morning. Stay tuned for a treat at 1:15…A Deliverance-worthy banjo cameo. Crazy, foot-stompin’ good.

Does Airport Security Really Make Us Safer? | Vanity Fair:
“The only useful airport security measures since 9/11,” [security expert Bruce Schneier] says, “were locking and reinforcing the cockpit doors, so terrorists can’t break in, positive baggage matching”—ensuring that people can’t put luggage on planes, and then not board them —“and teaching the passengers to fight back. The rest is security theater.”
